Description

Cardio Thoracic Tele RN

Shift: 12-hour shifts
Hours: 36/week
Unit: 70-bed Cardio Thoracic Telemetry unit
EHR: Epic
Requirements: 2 years experience, AHA BLS, active IL license or application started
Preferred: ACLS
Skills: EKG interpretation, drip titration, chest tubes, Cardizem/heparin drips
Patient Population: MI, CHF, A-fib, COPD, pacemaker/AICD, lung surgery, esophagectomy, general med overflow
Ratios: 1:4–1:5 days, 1:5–1:6 nights
Weekends/Holidays: Every other weekend and holiday rotation
Float: May float to other general medical units
