Description

Unit: Labor Pool RN (Float Pool – Multi-Specialty)

Deliver care across multiple units including Med/Surg, Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, ICU, ED, and Cardiology, adapting to changing assignments throughout the shift.
Ideal for nurses who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and can quickly adjust to varying acuity levels.
Ratios: Typically 1:6; CNA support available (approx. 1:8–10; may assist with sitters).
Requirements: BLS, NIHSS (ACLS/ASLS for ICU/ED assignments); 2+ years experience; minimum 1 prior travel assignment required.
Schedule: 12-hour shifts (6:45 start); every other weekend; holidays rotate; on-call for low census.
Details: Meditech charting; telemetry monitored remotely; floating required; Caribbean blue scrubs; strong clinical versatility and teamwork essential.
