Description

Unit: Resource Pool RN (Med/Surg / Stepdown / Tele) – Level I Trauma

Float across multiple units at a Level I trauma center, supporting Med/Surg, Stepdown, Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, and Oncology floors.

Units up to 34 beds each; must be comfortable working across diverse patient populations and acuity levels.

Ratios: Stepdown 1:3 | Med/Surg/Tele 1:6

Requirements: BLS (AHA); EPIC experience required.

Preferred: Prior travel + Level I trauma experience.

Skills: Must be well-rounded in stepdown care, neuro, ortho, trauma, general medicine, and oncology; strong adaptability and clinical judgment required.

Schedule: Varies by assignment; float pool role covering multiple units as needed.

Details: Royal blue scrubs; high-acuity, fast-paced environment; ideal for experienced, flexible nurses comfortable floating frequently and managing varied patient populations.
