Unit: Cardiac/Telemetry RN (Med/Surg Tele)


Work on a 28-bed cardiac-focused unit caring for patients with AMI, post-cath/PCI, respiratory failure, chest tubes, pacemakers, and post-op lung surgeries.


Strong emphasis on cardiac and respiratory care (no stepdown patients).


Ratios: 1:5


Requirements: BLS, ACLS; must be able to titrate drips and manage cardiac patients.


Skills:


Cardiac monitoring &amp; tele strip interpretation (required)


Post-cath care (TR bands; no sheath pulls)


Drip titration


Respiratory support (CPAP/BiPAP managed by RT)




Support: Charge RN 24/7 (no assignment on days; assists on nights); limited CNA support depending on phase.


Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7a–7:30p / 7p–7:30a); every other weekend; holidays rotate.


Details: EPIC charting; float to other Med/Surg/Tele units; royal blue scrubs; fast-paced cardiac unit requiring strong telemetry and drip management skills.
