Description

Neuro Med/Surg RN – Days/Nights

Charting: EPIC
Beds: 54 beds
Shift: 12-hour shifts
Scheduling: Requests considered; block scheduling allowed when possible
Ratios: 1:4–5 days, 1:5–6 nights
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Required Certs: BLS, NIHSS
Experience: Level 1 trauma, previous travel experience, and dedicated neuro unit experience required
Required Skills: Neuro Med/Surg, stroke, spine surgery, seizure, head injury, heparin drip experience, and titration based on PTT
Floating: May float in rotation to other units within skill competency
Call: None
