Requirements: 3+ years L&amp;D experience, ACLS, BLS, NRP, NIHSS, and Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring
Experience: C-section experience, high-risk OB experience, fetal monitoring proficiency, pre-eclampsia care, and OB emergency response
Patient Population: Labor, delivery, postpartum, couplet care, and high-risk OB patients
Ratios: Typically 1:2
Volume: 1–3 births per day; approximately 830 births per year
Weekends: Minimum 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
Call: 1 shift per 4-week schedule
Float: May float to Med Surg or ED if experienced
