Description

Neuro ICU RN

Shift: 12-hour nights
Hours: 36/week
Unit: 18-bed Neuro ICU, ratios 1:2
EHR: Epic
Requirements: 1 year experience, BLS, ACLS, active IL license or application started
Skills: Ventriculostomy, NIHSS, ventilators, arterial/central lines, tPA, acute stroke, post-craniectomy care
Patient Population: Ventrics, strokes with/without tPA, cranis
Drips: ICU drip titration required
Weekends/Holidays: Every other weekend and rotating holidays
Float: Travelers float first to ICU, intermediate, or general floors
