Unit: 48 beds, ratios 1:5–1:7 days
EHR: Epic
Requirements: 1 year experience, BLS, RN license
Skills: Med Surg care, heparin/Bumex/Lasix drips, basic telemetry monitoring
Patient Population: Pneumonia, UTI, AMS, GI bleed, alcohol withdrawal, falls/weakness
Float: May float to MS, MS-Tele, or IMC for lower-acuity patients
Notes: First-time travelers accepted; no block scheduling
