Description

Shift: 4x10-hour shifts
Hours: 40/week
Unit: 6-suite Cath Lab at a Level I trauma facility
EHR/Systems: Epic, McKesson, GE and Philips monitors
Requirements: 2+ years Cath Lab RN experience, active IL license or application started, AHA BLS, ACLS
Experience: Must be able to read strips and occasionally titrate drips
Patient Population: STEMI, NSTEMI, heart failure, congenital, TAVR, MitraClip, and peripheral cases
Case Volume: 4–20 cases per day
Call: 6–8 call shifts per month, including primary and backup call
Weekend Call: Every 6th–7th full weekend, plus occasional 24-hour backup weekend shifts
Holiday Call: Required as scheduled
Float: No floating required; IR sharing possible if experienced
Orientation: 12 non-billable hours; department orientation typically 2–3 shifts
Dress Code: Scrubs provided
Submission: SSN last four, middle initial, RTO, IL license status, and negative drug screen acknowledgment required
