Description

Position: MRI Technologist - mobile unit
Schedule: Two 12-hour days a week, 6:45 AM-7:15 PM, Monday-Friday; no weekends, holidays or call; no self-scheduling or block scheduling
Experience: 1 year; must be comfortable working as the lone technologist and communicating directly with physicians
Required: BLS, ARRT or ARMRIT, and a WV MRI license
EMR: EPIC with Fuji PACS; Siemens scanner
Unit: Single-scanner mobile MRI unit from Rayus serving the Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute; about 14 scans a day, staffed by 1 tech with 2 TAs
Duties: Brain, spine, MRA, body (abdomen, pelvis, chest) and MSK imaging; start IVs; help get the new unit set up and running
Note: No floating; grey scrubs, not provided
