Description

Facility: Porter Medical Center (Middlebury, VT) | 25-bed Critical Access Hospital | Trauma Level 3

Role: Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT)

Experience: 2+ years (2+ in specialty)

Required: Vermont RT licensure (respiratory care practitioner); BLS, ACLS, NRP | CRT/RRT or eligible to take NBRC written exam

Schedule: Posted schedule, typically 36 hrs/week (potential for more) | 12-hr shifts | weekends & holidays required | no call

Systems: Epic | Pyxis

Float: Yes—M/S, ED, Birthing Center (as needed)

Patient Population: All ages 0–100+ (varies by unit); newborn/peds experience preferred

Vent Management: RT-managed ventilators
