Description

Unit: Step-Down / PCU RN

Manage high-acuity cardiac and respiratory patients including CHF, post-cath, vascular procedures, stroke, and respiratory failure.
Ratios: 1:4–5 in a fast-paced step-down environment.
Requirements: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; 2+ years recent Step-Down experience.
Must be strong in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, cardiac drips, IV/PICC care, stroke management, and BiPAP/CPAP.
Schedule: 36 hrs/week; every other weekend & holiday; no block scheduling.
Details: Pyxis medication system; focus on post-procedure care, neurovascular checks, and critical thinking; local candidates accepted at reduced rate.
