Work Experience

Labor and Delivery Nurse or LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum (2 years)

Description

Position: LDRP RN
Schedule: Three 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM, 36 hours a week
Experience: 2+ years LDRP
Required: NY RN license in hand before submission
Unit: Labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum (unit 6080)
Duties: Care for patients across the full LDRP cycle, using strong critical thinking, adapting to available resources and working across a broad range of responsibilities
Note: A telemetry test is taken on site, usually during orientation, with two attempts - failing the second ends the contract, so confirm the traveler is comfortable before submitting. Two positions: one starting ASAP, one by 10/19 - confirm which before submitting. RTO must be declared before submittal; nothing submitted afterwards is approved
