Role: RN (Perioperative / Surgical Care, includes PAT responsibilities)
Must have travel experience.
Core Focus: Provides safe, patient-centered care for surgical patients across the pre-op and post-op continuum, from pediatrics through geriatrics.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform thorough, accurate assessments and deliver appropriate care for age/condition.

Provide competent clinical care and demonstrate knowledge of emergency equipment/procedures.

Complete timely, accurate documentation and patient education in the chart.

Maintain professionalism, follow policies, and identify growth opportunities.

Promote patient satisfaction through courteous communication and HIPAA compliance.

Follow National Patient Safety Goals (2 identifiers, Universal Protocol, safe transfers/body mechanics).

Prioritize care and remain accountable for changes in patient condition.

Provide pre- and post-op teaching and ensure chart completion.

PAT RN duties: Review PAT orders for completeness/appropriateness and help coordinate required testing promptly.

Requirements: Active RN license, BLS and ACLS; nursing degree required (Associate or BSN preferred).
