Description

Unit: Stepdown / PCU RN

Care for patients transitioning from ICU requiring close monitoring (vents, trachs, cardiac monitors, feeding tubes).
Perform frequent assessments, escalate changes in condition, and respond to codes/rapid response events.
Requirements: NY RN license, BLS & ACLS (AHA), 2+ years Stepdown or ICU experience.
Must have strong IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation experience.
Details: Ratios ~1:4, adult to geriatric population; fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
