Rehab Med Surg RN

Unit: Rehab Med Surg with average census of 22
EHR: Cerner
Requirements: 2+ years recent Med Surg and Rehab experience, charge RN experience, prior travel experience, NH or compact RN license, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS
Preferred: BSN
Ratios: 1:4–1:5
Role: Coordinates nursing care, supports patient/family teaching, and helps patients recover function and independence
Float: May float between Acute Rehab, Med Surg, and other units within scope
Charge: May be asked to work as backup Charge Nurse
Schedule: No block scheduling or schedule accommodations
