Unit: Observation Dept 615 (CO ID 16900) | Trauma Level 2 | Cerner | 10 beds

Role: RN | Openings: 10 | Adult-only (18+)

Schedule: 12s | 0.9 FTE / 72 hrs per pay period | 5 days / 5 nights | weekends/holidays required | no call mandated | no block scheduling guarantee

Ratios: ~1:5 (not strictly defined) | cardiac monitoring

Required: 1+ year Med/Surg, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, Tele/ECG competency (TNCC/ENPC optional)

Float: Yes—to Medical/Cardiac/Neuro-Ortho units

Common Obs Dx: Chest pain, asthma exacerbation, TIA, abd pain, urinary issues, glucose issues, DVT/PE, cellulitis, post-procedure monitoring, minor trauma
