Now Hiring: Travel Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Hospital based – Canton, GA
Schedule: 8 weeks, Shift is 8a-830p, but may vary
Important: Applicants must reside 50 miles or more from zip code 30115
Key responsibilities:
• Develops and implements patient management plans, including the coordination of referrals to specialty and social services
• Manages assigned caseload. Prepares and maintains records and makes written and oral reports to document case activity concerning patient care, counseling and therapeutic activities in accordance with department, hospital, medical center and/or health system policies
• Provides supportive counseling, grief counseling, crisis intervention and other appropriate therapeutic services to assist patients and families in coping with presenting symptoms and problems
Qualifications:
• Minimum Recent 2 years’ experience working in a hospital setting
• Active LCSW – Licensed Medical Social Worker - in GA
• AHA BLS certification required
• Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited college required
