Now Hiring: Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse – Wausau, WI

Schedule: 13 Weeks | 8 hour Variable Shifts | 0700-1530, 0900-1730, 1100 – 1930 | Holiday rotation expected
On Call/Call Back: 6-8 nights of weeknight call and 1-2 weekends during the 13 week contract
Key responsibilities:
• Assist surgeons during operating room procedures and ensure necessary equipment is present
• Coordinate with the surgical team on surgery availability and lead scheduling
• Administering IVs to increase patient comfort
• Expected to float to other hospitals in the area
• Looking for a flexible candidate with an excellent work ethic
• Will work 40-60 cases per day – on average is 45
Qualifications:
• Active RN license in Wisconsin or Compact License
• Minimum 5+ years of experience working in the OR, with having completed at least 1 travel assignment
• Need to have experience in a larger facility with comparable OR’s of 20
• Circulate required; Scrub preferred
• Davinci Robotic Experience Required as well as Trauma Level II experience
• Traveler must have own vehicle and not rely on uber/lyft due to on call responsibilities
• AHA BLS and ACLS Required
• Epic experience is preferred
• Must have expertise in all cases: Gyn, Urology, Plastics, ENT, General and GI (not required but a bonus)
