Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for the Main Operating Room with required acute care OR experience and robotics exposure preferred.

Details

• Work in the Main OR unit of a 284-bed hospital
• Night shift schedule from 7P to 7A
• Unit staffed with 1 RN and 1 Tech on nights, plus 2 on-call RNs and 2 on-call Techs
• Estimated patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2, never guaranteed
• Procedures performed include Vascular/Hybrid OR, Trauma, and Neuro cases
• Uses DaVinci Robotics equipment
• Meditech/CPN EMR system in use
• On-call required from 5P-11P Monday through Friday with a 30-minute response time, no overnight on-call required

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care OR RN experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Robotics experience highly preferred
• Prior experience at large Trauma OR facilities preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• No employment gaps totaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted
