Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist to scrub and assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, requiring 2+ years of experience and BLS/ACLS certification.
Details
- 4-room cath lab with 1 patient per room
- Unit staffed by 22 RNs and Techs
- Day shift staffed with director, manager, and minimum 3 staff per room; night shift covered by on-call team with 4 staff on STEMI call
- 1:1 patient ratios
- All GE room equipment
- Documentation via Meditech and MacLab
- 4x10 day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Call requirements up to a maximum of 15 days during critical periods
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience required
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- RCIS and ARRT certification preferred
- License required if applicable
- Must know how to scrub
- Experience with cardiac catheterization, cerebral angiograms, stents, and balloon procedures
Additional Information
- Perform cardiac cath, cerebral angiogram, stent, and balloon procedures along with ENT lab support and scrubbing duties
- Daily huddle calls with emphasis on building relationships with the Director, staff, and patients
- Surgical scrubs provided by the unit
- Department recognized for strong leadership and high performance standards
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
