Description
American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with TX licensure to treat orthopedic, balance, deconditioning, and pain patient populations.
Details
- Outpatient setting within a Physical Medicine Therapy Rehab department
- Treats typical outpatient patient types including orthopedic, balance, deconditioned, and pain patients
- Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Full time assignment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred
- PT license in state of TX or compact license required, if applicable
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include assessing, planning, evaluating, and implementing patient care plans
- Gathers patient data from charts and care team, coordinating with physicians as needed
- Independently assesses assigned patients and identifies additional testing or equipment needs
- Interprets evaluation results to develop measurable and realistic treatment goals
- Reassesses patient progress regularly per department and regulatory policy
- Temp-to-perm possibility available
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rate
- Returning employees who previously worked at any CHRISTUS facility must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible for a travel assignment
