Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Outpatient setting requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience and current TX PT license (license required if applicable).

• Outpatient clinic setting
• Day shift, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 13-week assignment length
• Epic charting system used

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• TX PT license required (pending license accepted); license required if applicable
• Epic charting experience required
• Outpatient experience required
• Experience with orthopedic, neurologic, and geriatric patient populations preferred
• Knowledge of modalities such as e-stim, ultrasound, traction, and moist heat preferred

Additional Information

• Main responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, and documentation across outpatient orthopedic and neurologic caseloads
• Utilizes therapeutic modalities including cervical/lumbar traction, cryotherapy, e-stim, and ultrasound
• Performs home exercise program development and patient/family education
• Open to first-time travelers, though an interview is required before an offer is extended
• No travel pairs or groups accepted
• Former staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted
• RTO limited to 3 days auto-approved; no RTO permitted during the first week of orientation
• Not available to candidates residing in Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris counties
