Description
American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Neuro-Progressive Care unit requiring prior Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU experience and Epic EMR proficiency.
Details
- Neuro-Progressive Care/Stepdown unit in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Rotating holiday coverage required
- 5-bed Med-Surg rotation required for all staff
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or RQI required
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU
- Epic EMR experience required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Must pass a Neuro-Progressive competency exam and skills checklist upon offer
Additional Information
- Navy blue scrubs are required
- Does not accept local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties
- More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week contract may result in contract termination, with make-up shifts required within 6 weeks
- RTO must be requested at time of submission
- No blocked scheduling permitted
