Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT(M) and ARRT(R) certification for a Level I Trauma Center academic medical center.

Details

• Inpatient and outpatient mammography setting at a Level I Trauma Center academic medical center
• Float coverage across 4 sites in the surrounding area as needed
• Day shifts, 5x8 hours, scheduled 8:30 AM-5:00 PM or 12:00 PM-8:30 PM
• Every other Saturday 7:30 AM-4:00 PM, with a weekday off when scheduled for Saturday
• Schedule posted one week in advance
• Performs 3D mammography, diagnostic and screening mammograms, and digital mammography
• Uses Hologic 3D and Siemens equipment
• Charting performed in Epic

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in mammography
• ARRT(M) and ARRT(R) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Breast ultrasound certification preferred
• Experience with Hologic equipment required
• Travel experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience at a large facility required
• Epic experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• 1 professional reference required
• Must apply for state license prior to submission, with license active before start date

Additional Information

• Cross training as a breast sonographer preferred
• Teal scrub tops and bottoms required
• Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required with only religious or medical exemptions accepted
• First-time travelers are not accepted
• Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Returning staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years to be considered as a traveler
• Requests for time off greater than 7 days require additional approval
