Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week home health assignment in the Sacramento/Folsom and Woodland/Yolo County areas of California.
Details
- Home health care setting serving the northeastern Sacramento into Folsom area and the Woodland/Yolo County service area
- Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
- Average of four visits per day, consisting of a combination of evaluations and revisits
- Float requirement: first to float
- Charting is completed in Cerner
Requirements
- Active CA OT license required (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
- Current BLS certification required (pending certifications not accepted)
- Active NPI number required
- Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance required
- COTA candidates with home health experience will be considered if no OT applicants are available
- 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked (must include dates of employment and eligibility for rehire)
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and revisit sessions for home health patients across the assigned coverage area
- Candidates must not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year; candidates previously employed PRN through outside firms will be considered
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
