Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract in Michigan City, IN, requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience and proficiency across multiple surgical specialties.

Details

• Position is in a 10-room Operating Room department of an acute care hospital
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Experience with all OR specialties is required, with the exception of Open Heart
• Schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 AM – 8:30 PM (4x10-hour day shifts)
• On-call is required approximately 4 days per month, including weekend call
• No floating required
• Epic EMR is in use at this facility
• Scrubs are provided by the facility

Requirements

• Active IN or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR nursing experience required
• Experience across multiple OR specialties required (Open Heart excluded)
• US SSN required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but may be subject to a reduced pay package
• 13-week contract duration
