Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring TNCC, PALS, and ENPC certifications on a night shift schedule.

Details

• 22-bed Emergency Department staffed with CNC, PCT, Unit Clerk, and RN coverage on both day and night shifts
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Night shift schedule, 7p-7a
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BSN required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Required certifications: PALS, ENPC, and TNCC
• Minimum 1 year of ER experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Responsible for triage, patient assessment, and prioritizing care in a fast-paced ED environment
• Collaborates with physicians to coordinate diagnostic tests, treatments, and plans of care
• Maintains flexibility to adapt to changing patient volumes and ED flow
• Nursing dress code is royal blue scrubs
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
