Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a NICU night shift position requiring NBRC credentialing and current Colorado licensure.

Details

• Work in a Respiratory Therapy department within a large hospital setting
• Unit supports 502 beds with 64-70 staff members
• Night shift staffing includes one charge therapist and 8-10 clinical RTs
• Patient ratio of 10:1
• Uses Hamilton G5 and C1 ventilators
• Meditech EMR system
• Night shift hours from 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM
• 13-week assignment length
• Typical procedures include breathing treatments and ventilator assessments

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of current RRT experience
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
• NBRC credentialing required
• Active Colorado RRT license required if applicable
• NICU/PEDS experience preferred
• Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
