Description

American Traveler is hiring an MFM Diagnostic Sonographer with 2+ years experience, RVT and ARDMS credentials required, to float between two Saint Cloud, MN facilities.

Details

• Float between an acute care hospital and an outpatient clinic setting
• Maternal Fetal Medicine Ultrasound department
• 4x8 hour day shifts with varied start times between 7:00 and 7:30 AM
• 32 hours per week
• Approximately 1 weekend shift every 4 to 6 weeks
• No on-call requirements
• Daily caseload of approximately 45 visits per technologist
• Uses Epic for charting
• Uses GE ultrasound equipment and PACS system
• Performs OB/GYN, general abdominal, vascular, small parts, and neonatal ultrasound studies
• Vascular studies include carotid, arterial mapping, arterial graft studies, and upper/lower extremity arterial and venous studies

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of sonography experience required
• Completion of a two-year Allied Health education program, Associate of Applied Science degree, or bachelor's degree from an accredited ultrasound program
• BLS certification required
• RVT certification required
• ARDMS credential in Abdomen, OB/GYN, Pediatric, or MSK required (multiple ARDMS specialties preferred)
• License required if applicable
• Vascular experience required, including arterial ultrasounds with bypass grafts and stents
• Epic charting experience required
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted

Additional Information

• Perform maternal fetal medicine and general ultrasound studies across both facility locations
• May float within scope to sister facilities as needed
• Required to work holidays as needed by the facility
• Scrub colors vary by facility and department
• Candidates cannot live within 50 miles of either facility
• Former employees must be separated from the facility for at least 9 months before returning as a traveler
• Finalized RTO must be submitted with the candidate profile
• No RTO permitted within the first week of the assignment
• Maximum of 10 days RTO allowed per assignment
• Contracted hours guaranteed
