Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an Inpatient Acute Rehab unit requiring 2 years of rehab experience and a MO or compact RN license.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting across 1st, 2nd, and Garden/Lower Level floors
• Rehab unit specializing in stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, medically complex, and comprehensive rehab patients
• 81 private-room unit with patient ratios of approximately 1:6-7 during the day and 1:8 at night
• Each nurse is supported by a dedicated Tech
• Adult patient population ages 18 and older
• Uses Epic EHR
• Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within 5 rehab units: Stroke, Comprehensive, Medically Complex, Brain Injury, and Spinal Cord Injury

Requirements

• Active RN license (MO State or Compact) required
• BLS (CPR) certification required, AHA certifications preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• CRRN certification preferred
• RN degree/certification required
• Flexible, collaborative, and positive demeanor preferred
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care within a comprehensive acute rehab program addressing physical, emotional, and psychological patient needs
• Work closely with physicians, therapists, and specialists to support patient recovery goals
• Black scrubs required along with agency-provided ID badge
• Report to Charge Nurse upon arrival
• Report time is 6:30 PM with parking available in the garage (upper level or back two rows of lower level)
• Flu vaccination required, or an approved medical/religious exemption submitted through Mercy's official exemption process
• Masking required for exemption holders from November 1 through March 31 during flu season
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
