Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a seasonal 13-week assignment requiring at least one year of acute care OR experience and a CO or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in a 23-room Main Operating Room suite supporting a team of 70 staff
- 1:1 patient ratios during cases
- Elective surgical caseload including Ortho/Spine/General/CV/Plastics/GYN/Robotics/Urology
- No trauma cases performed on this unit
- EMR system used is Meditech
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- On-call requirements include 1-2 weekends of second call and/or 1-2 twelve-hour shifts of first call during the contract
- Second call weekends consist of Friday 7p-11p, Saturday 7a-7p, and Sunday 7a-7p
Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Hospital Acute Care OR RN experience required
- Level 4 Trauma experience preferred
- Ortho/Spine experience preferred
- No gaps in work history totaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
