Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool night shift position requiring AL or compact RN licensure and float flexibility across units and hospitals.

Details

  • Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool position with float requirements to other units and hospitals
  • Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • 13-week assignment
  • Every other weekend required
  • Holiday coverage required as scheduled
  • 36 or 48 hours per week accepted
  • Uses Meditech EMR

Requirements

  • Active RN license, State of Alabama or Compact (no temporary licenses accepted)
  • AHA BLS or Red Cross BLS certification required
  • Associate degree in nursing required
  • 2 years overall specialty experience required; will consider 18 months with 1 year of recent specialty experience
  • NURSYS verification required
  • No prior license actions (past or current) allowed

Additional Information

  • Float across units and hospitals within the health system as needed
  • Dress code: solid navy scrubs
  • Parking available on-site
  • Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no mile radius restriction
  • Cardiac exam required after offer acceptance, with online pre-test and on-site testing components
