Description

American Traveler is hiring a seasonal travel RN for the Operating Room, requiring at least 1 year of recent OR experience and a Colorado or compact RN license.

Details

Work in the Main OR unit of a hospital setting
284-bed facility with approximately 55 OR staff
Day shift staffed with 1 Charge RN, 1 Trauma RN, and 1 Trauma Tech
Night shift staffed with 1 RN, 1 Tech, plus 2 on-call RNs and 2 on-call Techs
Patient ratios typically range from 1:1 to 1:2, estimated but not guaranteed
Uses DaVinci Robotics equipment
Meditech/CPN EMR system used
Schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
On-call required from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with no overnight on-call
Typical procedures include Vascular/Hybrid OR, Trauma, and Neuro cases

Requirements

Active RN license (Colorado or Compact) currently in hand
Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
Minimum 1 year of current OR RN experience required
Experience in large Trauma OR facilities preferred
Robotics experience highly preferred and given priority
Prior Meditech experience preferred
No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

Perform OR nursing duties supporting vascular, hybrid, trauma, and neuro procedures
Scrubs are provided for OR RNs and CSTs; outside scrubs are not permitted
Self-motivated candidates with a positive, team-oriented attitude are best suited for this role
Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
