Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a Breast Center requiring ARRT(R)(M) certification and 1+ years of mammography experience.

Details

Outpatient Breast Center setting in a hospital department
Patient ratio of 1:1
Uses GE equipment and Epic EMR
Days shift, 5x8 schedule
No weekend hours or call requirements
No floating requirements

Requirements

Current ARRT(R)(M) certification required
BLS from AHA required
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Mammography
Experience with QA/QC preferred
License required if applicable

Additional Information

Perform mammography procedures including positioning, image acquisition, and QA/QC
Assist radiologist with special procedures, needle localizations, and biopsies
Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate service calls as needed
Prepare, stock, and clean exam rooms and equipment between patients
Review patient history and screen for prior procedures before exams
Black scrub color required
First-time travelers may be considered
Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed, must be made up during the assignment
