Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring scrub and monitor experience along with ACLS, RCIS, and RRT certifications.

Details

• Work in a 1-bed Cath/EP Lab setting with a team of 6 (RN/Cath Lab Tech)
• Day shift staffing includes 5 RNs and 1 Tech with 1:1 patient-to-team ratios
• Rotating on-call coverage requires a minimum of 3 team members, including at least one RN
• Uses GE, Mac Lab, and Abbott Ensite X equipment with Mac Lab as the EMR
• Procedures performed include Left Heart Cath, PCI, Pacemaker and ICD Implants, TEE, Cardioversion, Loop Recorders, EP Studies, and EP Ablations
• Shift runs 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a rotating off-day/week
• Rotating weekend requirement of a minimum of two weekends per month
• May float within the facility to areas matching skill set or to a sister facility within a reasonable radius

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: ACLS, RCIS, and RRT
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Cath Lab
• Experienced in scrub and monitor roles required
• EP scrub and EP monitor experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Cardiac/EP Lab environment
• Ideal candidates demonstrate attention to detail, composure under pressure, strong communication, and physical stamina
• Dress code requires ceil blue scrubs
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
