Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift assignment at a Level 3 Trauma Center requiring TNCC and NIH Stroke certifications.
Details
- 28-bed Emergency Department
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Staffing includes CNC, RNs, PCTs, Unit Clerk, and Greeter roles across shifts
- Uses GE monitors, Lifepaks, Baxter IV pumps, Ranger rapid infuser, and Ranger blood warmer
- Documents using Meditech Expanse EMR
- Level 3 Trauma Center
- Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI capability
- Stroke Certified facility
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Certification
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- At least 1 year of recent experience in Emergency Department nursing
- No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
Additional Information
- Provide emergency nursing care within a Level 3 Trauma Center setting
- Support chest pain and stroke response protocols as part of accredited programs
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
