Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of ED experience, TNCC certification, and a TX or compact RN license.
Details
- Emergency Department unit with 19 beds
- Day shift and night shift teams staffed with Charge RN, Triage RN, 4 Bedside RNs, HUC, and Tech
- Patient ratios of 4:1 or 5:1
- Uses Philips monitoring equipment
- Charts using Meditech EMR
- 7A-7P shift schedule with rotating weekends required
- No on-call requirements
- No floating required
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Certification, and TNCC
- Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience required
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Perform emergency care procedures including tPA administration, STEMI care, CPR, laceration repair, and orthopedic care
- Royal blue scrub color required
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
