Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position including Post-Partum and Baby Unit, requiring a VT or compact license and 5+ years of experience.

Details

Combined Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, and Baby Unit assignment within a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital
Night shift schedule
Floating required to other units, including covering overflow from the Progressive Care Unit

Requirements

Active VT or compact RN license required, obtainable upon acceptance
Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience required
Current certifications: BLS, PALS, and NRP
AWHONN nursing certification required

Additional Information

Provide nursing care across Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, and Baby Unit settings
Located in Newport, Vermont, in the Northeast Kingdom near the Canadian border
Area offers outdoor recreational activities such as hiking, skiing, fishing, and snowmobiling
Personal transportation strongly recommended due to limited public transit
Support provided throughout transition into the role and community
Required to attend department quarterly education sessions
