Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry RN with a TN or compact license and 1+ years of MS/Tele experience for a night shift travel assignment at a Level III trauma center.
Details
- Medical Surgical Combination unit serving patients of all ages
- Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Weekend rotation is every other weekend
- Call requirements are as needed
- Floating may be required to similar med/surg units
- Uses Omnicell for medication dispensing
- Charts in Meditech EHR
Requirements
- Active RN license (TN or Compact) required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- 1+ years of RN experience required
- MS/Tele experience required
- IV insertion skills required
- Tennessee Abuse Registry check required prior to start
Additional Information
- Level III Trauma Center
- Provide quality nursing care within a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit
- Any scrub color accepted; casual wear not permitted
- Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
- First-time travelers may be considered
