Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of SLP experience required
- Active TX state license required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities and decrease aspiration risk
- Design communication strategies to help residents better express themselves and understand others
- Lead and direct speech-language pathology and audiology services in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards
- Build and manage caseload using available patient referrals and treatment opportunities to meet facility productivity expectations
- Communicate any barriers to completing treatment to facility leadership
