Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a 13-week teaching hospital assignment requiring MA licensure and at least 3 years of recent Emergency Room experience.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Room of a 298-bed teaching hospital
• 12-hour afternoon/night shift from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM
• Every other weekend required, with holidays as needed
• No on-call requirements
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand prior to consideration (compact license not accepted)
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Room experience (within the past 6 months)
• Skills checklist for Emergency Room experience current within 1 year required
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required
• Must have personal vehicle for this assignment

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care within a Level teaching hospital setting recognized for patient safety excellence
• Must work one holiday block if scheduled: either Christmas Eve through the weekend after Christmas, or New Year's Eve through the weekend after New Year's Day
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of profile upload; requests made after an offer will not be approved
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted during the assignment
• Candidates seeking block scheduling or schedule accommodations will not be considered
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation required
• Not available for candidates wishing to work concurrently with another assignment or permanent placement
