Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Room RN for a night shift position requiring 2+ years of ED experience, Cerner proficiency, and charge experience.

Details

• Work in an 11-bed Emergency Room department
• 12-hour night shifts, flex 1pm-1:30am
• Every other weekend required
• Available for holiday coverage as needed
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Active MI RN license required at time of submission
• Active AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• 2+ years of Emergency Department experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Charge nurse experience required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Must have own vehicle for the assignment
• Skills checklist for Medical Surgical experience current within 1 year required
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required

Additional Information

• Provides professional nursing care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Directs and supervises the nursing patient care team including CNAs, LPNs, and other technicians
• Collaborates with own team and other disciplines in the provision of care
• Completes timely documentation of patient care, condition, and response to treatment
• Any requested time off must be submitted and verified at the time of profile upload
• No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted
