Description

American Traveler is hiring a night shift Emergency Room RN requiring an active IL license, 1 year of ER experience, and TNCC, PALS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Details

• Emergency Department setting within a hospital
• 13-week assignment with night shift schedule (7:30 PM-8:00 AM)
• Required to work every other weekend or every third weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required within the same discipline across local campuses
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required; IA license must be in process of application
• TNCC, PALS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• De-escalation certification required
• Minimum 1 year of ER experience required
• One supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment/contract required
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission required
• Must have taxable address outside of a 50-mile radius from the facility

Additional Information

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• Provide and manage patient care within the Emergency Department
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
• Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
• Limited to 1 day off request during the periods of 11/26-11/30 and 12/23-1/2, regardless of holidays worked
