Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Float Pool RN for night shift coverage requiring a VA or compact RN license and EPIC charting experience.

Details

• MS/Tele float pool assignment within an acute care hospital
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-07:00)
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Floating may be requested based on facility needs
• Locals accepted at the same base rate

Requirements

• Active VA RN license in hand or proof of compact license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• EPIC charting experience required
• NIH Stroke Scale education required
• Specialty experience within the last year required

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care within the Med/Surg-Telemetry float pool
• Prior permanent employees must have a 6+ month gap before returning as a traveler
• RTO requests should be minimal, ideally no full calendar weeks off and no more than 7 total days, submitted prior to confirmation
• No additional RTO requests approved after an offer is extended
