Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor and Delivery RN for a night shift position requiring Labor and Delivery experience and OH or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Labor and Delivery / Antepartum unit within a hospital setting
• Provides high-risk antepartum care for pregnant patients requiring closer monitoring or specialized treatment, including conditions such as high blood pressure, preeclampsia, preterm labor, vaginal bleeding, placental problems, or multiples pregnancies
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or Compact State RN license required
• Minimum of 12 months permanent Labor and Delivery experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Basic Fetal Monitoring competency required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• No open background check cases or professional license hits accepted

Additional Information

• Provides specialized nursing care for high-risk antepartum patients
• Travelers are expected to work every other holiday
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Previous permanent employees cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their last end date
• RTO must be discussed during the interview process
