Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position supporting the GU/ENT surgical team, requiring an active IL RN license and at least three years of relevant nursing experience.
Details
- Surgery unit position supporting the GU/ENT surgical team
- Schedule consists of (4)x10-hour day shifts worked on consecutive days
- Rotating evening and weekend call required
- Rotating weekend and holiday shifts
- May float to other Carle Health hospital locations including Methodist, Pekin, and Proctor
- Uses Epic for charting and documentation
Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license in good standing required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience required
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- Epic charting experience required
Additional Information
- Provides direct patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Maintains accurate and timely nursing documentation for continuity of care
- Responsible for identifying and reporting patient and employee safety concerns
- Collaborates with healthcare team members and supports peer development
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel assignment
- RTO not to exceed 7 total days during the 13-week contract
- Candidates who have worked at Carle Health for more than 1 year continuously must take a 6-month break in service before returning
