Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for an outpatient Infusion Therapy position requiring chemotherapy/biotherapy certification and recent Epic experience.
Details
- Outpatient clinic setting within an Adult Hematology/Oncology infusion unit with 8 chairs
- Patient population ranges from ages 18-100
- Nurse to patient ratio of 4:1
- 8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 40 hours per week
- No weekend requirements
- No floating or charge nurse responsibilities required
- No on-call requirements
- No holiday coverage required
Requirements
- Active VT or compact RN license required
- Chemotherapy and biotherapy certification required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Oncology/Infusion specialty required
- Outpatient clinic experience in an Infusion/Oncology setting required
- Must be trained in administering chemotherapy in a clinic setting
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required
Additional Information
- Administer infusion therapy and chemotherapy treatments to adult hematology/oncology patients in an outpatient clinic environment
- Scrubs of any color permitted; nail polish not allowed
- Reliable personal transportation strongly recommended as public transportation is not accessible in the area
- Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November through April
- Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at local pay rate
- Candidates residing 51-100 miles away are eligible for radius pay rate
