Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring TNCC and trauma experience at a Level II Trauma Center.

Details

• Work in a 50-bed Emergency Department functioning as a Trauma II and Comprehensive Stroke Center (survey pending)
• Also designated as a Chest Pain Center with Pathway to Excellence and Journey to Magnet recognition
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Unit staffed with CNC, RNs, LVN, Paramedics, PCTs, and BHTs across day and night shifts
• Uses GE Monitors and Belmont Rapid Infuser equipment
• Meditech EMR used for charting
• 13-week assignment with 7A-7P shift schedule
• Every other weekend required

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Emergency Department nursing
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Trauma experience preferred
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates will be considered
