Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab RN with 2+ years of recent Cath Lab experience and a TX or compact RN license for a day shift role with on-call requirements.

Details

• Work in the Cath Lab unit of a hospital setting
• 5 recovery bays with a procedural patient ratio of 1 per room and 1 per 5 recovery patients
• Day shift schedule, eight-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 3:30 PM
• Uses GE/Philips equipment
• Charts in Meditech and MERGE EMR systems
• Required to take call one week per month
• Float to Interventional Radiology (IR) as needed

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience required
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90+ days in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform procedures including LHC, RHC, PCI, PTA, Stenting, Impella, IABP, Peripheral Angiograms, PPM, ICD, EP studies, some IR procedures, Thrombectomy, Laser, and Directional Atherectomy
• Navy scrubs provided for dress code
• Best suited for candidates with a relaxed, laid-back personality fit
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
